Leilah Safka - John Fiddler duet!

[Leilah Safka - Country Duetts] (August 2009) Leilah Safka is the daughter of world renowned sixties singer, Melanie. Leilah has been singing and touring with Melanie for the past several years, but she's also released a few solo albums. Her 2006 effort was called "Country Duetts" and included her version of "One And One Is One", featuring John Fiddler on vocals! Explains John: "I actually never met Leilah. I only learned about her version last year. I recorded vocals for several Medicine Head songs a few years ago for a German company. I guess it's possible more may surface in time!!" "Country Duetts" is available as a digital download from CDBaby among others.

JOHN FIDDLER: new song on stillgigging.com!

(January 2008) This may well be old news to most of you, but last year John was interviewed by stillgigging.com and premiered a GREAT new song called "Free". If you missed it, click on the radio player at stillgigging.com to listen to the song and interview!

So what is stillgigging.com? Stillgigging is simple - it’s about the gigs, the people who perform them and the fans that watch them. It’s also to do with the longevity of some of the legendary performers and the loyalty of the fans to these stars of their generation. It’s about building a unique music community dedicated to iconic bands and artists from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s bygone eras, in a bid to fill a long awaited hole in the worldwide music industry. Our main mission is to give bands and artists the opportunity to reconnect and reunite at various venues with their fans that may not be aware they are still gigging. We want to help you reach into your past and rediscover, relive and share your musical memories with fellow fans.
